Beyond the Stadium When major sporting tournaments capture global attention, the spotlight naturally falls on the action inside the stadiums—the competition, the results, the drama, and the spectacle. Yet beyond the pitch lies another di- mension of equal significance: the growing economic weight of sport and the expanding opportunities it creates for banks and financial insti- tutions.
