Jumhouria Bank Jumhouria Bank OFFICIALLY LAUNCHES THE NEW UPGRADE OF THE BANKING SYSTEM During the meeting, the mechanism for implementing the banking system development project was discussed as part of the bank's efforts to de- velop and update the work systems to improve the level of banking serv- ices provided to the customers, and to keep pace with the development of the banking industry. The deputy general manager of the bank, Mr. Nuri AbuFlija confirmed that the launch of the project to up- grade the banking system, "Flex Cube" from its currently operating version to the modern version (14.3) will started as of 14/2/2021 accord- ing to the implementation plan agreed upon between the bank and the executing company. The system will be launched during the first quarter of 2022. Abuflija stated that the process of in- stalling the system will be carried out by the company (Vitonex), a leader in this field. He added that this project was scheduled to start during the first quarter of 2020, unfortunately, the work on it was brought to a halt due to the Covid-19 pandemic. the BANKING EXECUTIVE 34 ISSUE 149 MAY 2021
