NBO A testament to its role as a digital leader in the banking industry, National Bank of Oman (NBO) has won twice at the World Business Outlook Awards, for "Best Digital Bank Oman 2021" and "Best Mobile Banking App Oman 2021”. The awards, which are held an- nually by the global publica- tion, highlight the bank’s innovative use of technology and it’s constantly-enhanced digital portfo- lio. With its mobile app at the centre, NBO’s range of cutting-edge digital solutions continue to cater to the evolving demands of its customers and cement its position as a bank fit for the future. Abdul Karim Al Hinai, Chief Trans- formation Officer at NBO, said, “Our digital transformation is central to our journey as a market-leading bank, and as such we have pio- neered a number of first-of-their-kind projects, from our mobile app, to cashless and contactless banking, to our mobile wallet. Especially during the last year, our digitally-led solu- tions have been instrumental to peo- ple being able to manage their financial lives safely and easily dur- ing the pandemic.
