Dr. Emad Bukhamsin ROOTED IN TRADITION, GROWING WITH PURPOSE Well before daybreak, Dr. Bukham- sin often walks through an expansive orchard of 20,000 date palms—one of the largest in the country. For him, these trees are more than a business or an agricultural project. They are symbols of resilience, continuity, and shared prosperity. In many ways, they mirror his personal journey: grounded in Kuwaiti heritage and steadily branching out into diverse sectors of the national and regional economy. His approach is methodi- cal yet visionary, an outlook he at- tributes partly to growing up under the guidance of his father, Jawad Ahmed Bukhamseen, who founded the Jawad Bukhamseen Commercial Corporation in 1957. This family her- itage, rooted in diligence and serv- ice, paved the way for a younger generation that continues to redefine Kuwaiti enterprise. A PILLAR OF BUSINESS LEADERSHIP Today, Dr. Bukhamsin serves as Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Bukhamseen Group Holding Company, a conglomerate acknowledged as one of the top five businesses in Kuwait. Under his di- rection, it has broadened its reach into finance, media, hospitality, real estate, and urban planning. Such di- versification is not solely a strategic response to shifting markets; it exem- plifies his broader vision of building an interconnected economy that sup- ports sustainable development. His leadership extends further: he pre- sides over Al Arabiya Real Estate Company, shapes the success of Gourmania International, and guides media platforms like Al Baraka Media Group and Annahar Daily Newspaper. Each of these ventures reflects Dr. Bukhamsin’s dedication to fostering innovation, forging new partnerships, and reinforcing Kuwait’s standing on the global eco- nomic stage.
