Untamable HEAD OF WUAB WOMEN EMPOWERMENT LAUNCHES HER NEW BOOK “UNTAMABLE” Following a long track record of suc- cessful experiences, Dr. Nahla Khaddage Bou Diab poured her ex- pertise into a book entitled “Untam- able: Claim Your Power, Live Fearlessly, and Become Unstop- pable”. From a young immigrant in Canada to a recognized international leader; her book tells her story and il- lustrates to her readers how they can turn hardship into success the same way she did. In line with her empowering efforts, as head of WUAB’s women empow- erment group, Dr. Nahla, with the support of WUAB’s board of direc- tors initiated a charter for gender di- versity that Arab Banks can adopt to uplift their culture to include gender diversity at the executive level. The charter for gender diversity broke new grounds as it positioned WUAB’s Arab Banks as pioneers in paving the way for gender diversity in the Arab World. The charter was featured by the Organization for Eco- nomic Co-operation and Develop- ment (OECD) in one of its prominent publications. This certainly consti- tuted a great win for the banking sec- tor in the Arab world. “Untamable” addresses both gen- ders.
