DIGITAL EGYPT STRATEGY Digital Egypt is a comprehensive na- tional strategy launched by Egypt’s Ministry of Communications and In- formation Technology (MCIT) in alignment with Egypt Vision 2030. It represents a long-term plan to trans- form Egypt into a digital society and build a strong digital economy. The strategy rests on three main pillars: digital transformation, digital up- skilling, and digital innovation. Through these pillars, the govern- ment aims to modernize public serv- ices, make them faster and more accessible, and create a data-driven ecosystem that supports efficiency and transparency. This includes dig- itizing government services, expand- ing e-governance platforms, and fostering innovation in emerging technologies to ensure Egypt’s com- petitiveness in the global digital economy.mcit.gov.eg The Digital Egypt Portal is the central platform through which citizens can access government services online. It consolidates hundreds of services, such as civil registration, traffic li- censing, real estate documentation, and judicial procedures, into one unified digital interface. By digitizing these services, the portal reduces bu- reaucracy, saves time, and enhances transparency. It also ensures inclusiv- ity by making services available to citizens across Egypt, regardless of location.
