ZIAD KHALIFEH Yª«ó Gd©ªóGA hHÉf» G’CL«É∫ a» Y∏º G’Ebàü°ÉO CEO and General Manager of SOS HOME Doctors Dr. Leila Dagher is an Associate Professor of Economics at the American University of Beirut (AUB) and Economic Adviser to the Prime Minister and the Minister of Economy in Lebanon. She previously served as the Director of the Institute of Financial Economics (AUB), chaired the Department of Economics (AUB), and has been an adjunct lecturer at the George Washington University (GWU) since 2016. Dr. Dagher’s research focuses on policy issues related to energy, envi- ronment, and economic and financial crises. She has written extensively on green power markets, demand elasticities, and oil price shocks. Her work has ap- peared in leading academic journals. Dr. Dagher has been a visiting scholar at var- ious higher education and research insti- tutions including Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government. She is an Associ- ate Editor of Finance Research Letters, on the Editorial Board of Utilities Policy, and is a member of the International Advisory Board of Energy Policy. Dr. Dagher is a Senior Fellow at the Lebanese Center for Policy Studies and serves on the steering committee of the Mashreq Gender Facility. She received her Bachelor of Engi- neering from the American University of Beirut and her Ph.D. in Mineral Economics from the Colorado School of Mines. DR.
